Hello everyone! 

I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving and ate delicious food. Instead of celebrating Thanksgiving on a Thursday, my family and I had dinner on Wednesday. Then on Thursday, it was a chill day where we also ate again and watch a movie all day. I also used that day to catch up on homework and some final projects, since the end of the semester is just around the corner. 

There are still a few more weeks before the end of the semester. For one of my classes, all I have is the final exam to take. The second class will be regular classes up to the end of the semester with a final project at the end. For the third class, I have the remainding time to work on my final project. Out of the three classes that I am taking, the third class is the one that I am more stressed about. The reason for this is that although I still have a few more weeks, there is still a lot to get done and time seems to not be enough. 

Other than school, I am doing well. I usually don’t ask for this, but I am hoping that there is more snow this Winter. The reason for this is that I am hoping to go sledding this year with my family and friends. It feels like haven’t gone sledding since I was in elementary school.

Hello everyone!

I hope everybody is doing well and had a great October and a happy Halloween. I didn’t do anything for Halloween, But my nephews and niece did. They went trick or treating. The best part is that they shared their candy with me. I was surprised that almost nobody was trick or treating in my neighborhood. I don’t know if I should be concerned about that.

I feel like time is going by fast as I get older. I feel like I am more in a rush as time goes on. Perhaps because the school semester is almost over and stress is piling up. Although I am busy with school, I have made some time for my nephew to help with his schoolwork or homework. He has been falling a little behind on his work and when I found out I decided to help him catch up. I make sure to call him or message him to remind him to do his homework. Other times he calls me on the phone because he needs help with his math, history, writing, etc.

I feel a sense of joy to be able to be a person that he looks up to and someone who can help him. The reason for this joy is that when I was a kid, neither my parents nor my siblings were able to help me with the schoolwork. Therefore, I am glad to be the person he calls for when he needs help in school.

I personally think my niece has the best costumes each year.

Hello Everyone!

I hope everybody is doing well. This month has been a bit difficult due to the death of a family member. But one must always try and find the light in the dark times. Death is just part of life and one must continue to move forward. Our loved ones will always be alive as long as we remember them in our hearts. 

I haven’t done much in my personal life. I did notice that I started going out a bit more often. Since I don’t go out much, my goal is to go out with friends and see a movie at least once a month. I recently went to see “The Women King” and I enjoy it. The next movie my friends and I plan to see is horror and psychological. It is called “Smile”. I usually don’t mind watching horror films but the problem starts when I am about to go to sleep and I start thinking of the events that happened in the movie.  

Moving on to school, things are still going well. Nothing has changed. Although we students have moved to in-person classes, there are only a handful of students who show up. Since Zoom classes are still offered, most students just attend them instead of in-person. A new important task that I will be doing is registering for graduation. I just have to meet with my advisor to make sure I am not missing any credits for graduation.

Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone is doing well and had an amazing summer. For the first time in years, I didn’t take any summer courses for school. It was nice to get some time off. For the most part, I hung out with friends and family. Since I don’t go out much, my friends took this opportunity to take me everywhere. Some of my favorite places I went were bowling, canoeing, eating out, sightseeing, going to the movies, and recently I went to the state fair. I also got to celebrate my birthday and I was gifted an instant camera. What’s nice about the camera is that it is also Bluetooth and I can print any photograph that I have saved on my phone. That way I am not just limited to printing only from the photographs I take with the camera.

It is nice to see some familiar faces now that I am back in school. Since some students and professors are taking/teaching the same program, we have gotten to know each other well. As for my classes, they have already started to move fast. Since some professors do not have strict deadlines for assignments, I have started getting those classes done last. However, I don’t want to get in the habit of waiting too long to complete their assignments. This is my final semester and although my fuel tank is almost empty, I know I can make it.

Hello everyone!

I hope everybody is doing well. School ended a few weeks ago and everything went well. My classes ended well and now I have registered for my Fall semester classes of 2022. These classes will be in person. Although it’s only going to be one day each week, it is nice to go back to a classroom and see other students. Also, since I don’t like waking up early, thankfully these classes are in the afternoon. That way I will be able to sleep for a bit longer.

As for this month overall, the weather has been crazy. I know it’s the rainy season but sometimes it gets too hot and other times it gets to a nice cool temperature. A few weeks ago there was a storm. This caused a huge tree branch to fall off a tree and take all the power cables with it. The power from my house and a few others was out for about two days. What’s worse was that it was two really hot days and so there was no air conditioner. I usually don’t like taking cold showers, but this time I was glad that there was at least running water. These events made me realize how dependent people are on electricity in this day in age. Overall, as bad as it may seem it was a fun experience.

Hello Everyone!
I hope everybody is doing well and is enjoying the rainy season. I love the sound of rain so much that there are times when I sleep either with my window open to hear the sound of rain or just play some rain and nature sound on Spotify.
I feel like this month ended pretty well for me. I was able to hang out with a couple of friends and even went to an art museum. The only downside was that I didn’t notice the time that the museum closed. Therefore, I was only there for about an hour. Since I didn’t get to see everything in the museum, I plan on going back something the month of May.
As for school, these next few weeks are finals. My group and I did great on our final project for an I.T. class. We got an A as our grade for the project. I am glad because it took us about 4 weeks to complete it and we used almost every minute till the end. Now that the Spring semester is finishing up, I am not sure what I will do in the summer since I won’t be taking any summer courses for the first time in a while. I do plan to go to the gym or just have a workout at home. I have always made the excuse of not doing it because I am too busy with school. But now I won’t have any excuse to not get started over the summer.
As for my Fall classes, I have not picked them all yet. I also found that someone from my I.T. group project will also be taking some of the same classes as I am in the Fall. Now that Classes will be back to in-person, I will get to build a better relationship with my classmates as opposed to classes using Zoom.

Hello everyone! 😊
I hope everybody is doing well. This month had some crazy weather. Here in Minneapolis, I believe the weather reached somewhere between fourth and fifthly degrees sometime in the middle of March. To me, that temperature was great. Then by the next two days, the temperature went back to zero. Since I don’t go out much, this month my friends decided to take me out and away from my cave to have some fun. We mainly went out shopping. One of my favorite purchases was a Dragon Ball Super T-shirt with the image of Beerus on the back. Although I got it about a week ago, I still haven’t worn it. My mom and I also finish the second 1000 pace jigsaw puzzle. This time this puzzle took use about a week as opposed to a month with the other puzzle.
As for my school life, everything is going well. I started choosing my classes for the Fall semester. But, there is a time conflict between two classes that I want to take and therefore I have to ask if the class times are final or if they will be changed. As for the finals that are coming up, some classmates and I made a group to work on the final project together. We are hoping to get it done on Monday in about five hours.

Hello everyone!

I hope everybody is doing well and has had a fantastic February. This Monday I entered into week 8 of the Spring Semester. Everything is going well so far. But classes still keep moving a bit faster than what I would normally like. On week 8, I wanted to attend an optional in-person lab for one of my classes. However, the week before I ended up getting sick with the flu. Although I am feeling much better now, I am still not 100% back to feeling healthy. Since spring break is next week, I won’t be able to attend another lab until the following week. I also have two weeks to complete my midterms. They were originally assigned to be taken during spring break, but since no one wants to be doing schoolwork or grading papers during spring break, the midterms were sent out a week early for students to complete if they do decide to.

As for spring break, I have no plans. I do plan on just getting a bit ahead on schoolwork since I will have nothing else to do. I have been spending a bit more time with mom, however. Since mom had an accident and ended up fracturing her foot, she has taken some time off from work. Since she is at home most of the time, I bought her two one-thousand-piece puzzles so she wouldn’t get bored from being in the home all the time. so far, we have only completed one.

This was a short month. Hopefully, I will have something more interesting to talk about next time.

Hello everyone!

I hope everyone is doing well and hopefully is starting the year feeling great.

This Monday I started week four of the Spring semester. So far so good. I am enjoying my classes, but I am currently enjoying my Internet/intranet Security class the most. So far, the most exciting lab I have done for my security class is using software such as Wireshark to look at all the network traffic on my local network. Furthermore, for this lab, I created a fake account on a website. I then switched over to Wireshark and I was able to see the username and password I had used to create my account. This lab was to teach us about security risks and how easy they can be at risk if we are not careful enough. Another lab that I enjoyed for this class was creating encrypted messages and exchanging them between classmates.

The class that I am having to most trouble with is my Cisco Network Administration class. There is just a lot going on and to remember. Also, the class has two textbooks. One textbook is used for chapter quizzes and the other textbook is used for labs. The labs are fun but a bit more challenging. I have to stay on track for this class, which is why it’s the first class I work on for the week. However, there have been times when I spend too much time on this class that I then feel pressure when working on my other classes and feeling like I don’t have enough time to work on them.

Changing the subject from school, I haven’t done much in my personal/social life. I haven’t gone out much this month. I am not complaining because I am an introvert. However, I haven’t taken any new pictures. I have been thinking about getting a camera to take photos instead of just using my phone. But I don’t know much about cameras and they can get really expensive. I also have been thinking about getting a 3-D printer. A buddy of mine recently got one and he has been having a great time with it. Surprisingly some aren’t as expensive as I thought they would be. However, I still can’t decide between a camera or a 3-D printer. I’ll give it more thought and hopefully, I’ll have an answer next time I see y’all.

Hello everyone!
I hope everyone is doing well and hopefully everyone is ending the year on a good note.
At the moment I am on winter break from school. Therefore, I have mainly been watching movies. So far, the best movie I have seen is Spider-Man No Way Home. Mainly because I got to see Tobey Maguire’s version of Spider-Man. Tobey will always be my favorite Spider-Man. The fun part about going to the movies was that there were a lot of Spider-Man fans who were dressed in the Spider-Man costume. I also got to see one of my friends that I had not seen in years at the Spider-Man movie. He will soon be leaving for basic training. Therefore, it was nice to see him because it will be a while until I get to see him again.
I go back to school next week. There are a few professors who I will see again for this semester’s classes that are coming up. Therefore, I will feel more comfortable interacting with them since I now know more about them. There is a new professor that I will be taking a class with. I’m excited to meet and see them again.
